Livepeer Partners

The Livepeer Network is a public, open-source, and permissionless network that provides a decentralized infrastructure for real-time video and AI processing. The network is composed of three main components: gateways, orchestrators, and delegators.

Gateways

Gateways are the entry point for applications into the Livepeer network. They are the coordination layer that connects real-time AI and video workloads to the orchestrators who perform the GPU compute. Gateways earn revenue from transaction fees on all jobs they route.

Orchestrators

Orchestrators are GPU operators who run real-time AI inference, Daydream / ComfyStream pipelines, BYOC containers, and traditional transcoding. They provide GPU horsepower, model execution, deterministic and verifiable output, and performance guarantees. Orchestrators earn revenue from job fees and LPT staking rewards.

Delegators

Delegators are token holders who stake their LPT to an orchestrator to help secure the network and earn a share of rewards. Delegators do not participate in the day-to-day operations of the network, but they do play a crucial role in the network’s security and decentralization.
