The Livepeer Studio CLI generates a new Livepeer app so you can go from zero to a running app in a few steps.

Prerequisites

Create a Livepeer Studio API key at livepeer.studio/dashboard/developers/api-keys.

Generate a new app

From your terminal: 
npx @livepeer/create
When prompted:
  1. Enter your API key.
  2. Enter a Stream ID (or create a stream in the dashboard and use its ID).

Run the app

After the project is created: 
cd <project-directory>
npm run dev
The CLI sets up a project that uses your API key and stream for broadcasting or playback. Customize it from there using the Livestream and VOD guides and the SDKs overview.
